Meet the Artist...
Hey there! I'm Erin Mercedes—
I'm all about turning what's around me into somethingness. For as long as I can remember I’ve loved how our surroundings can transcend into something, similar to how Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision could turn any implausible landscape into the perfect basis for his architecture.
I'm based in Kaslo, British Columbia, a small mountain village in the Kootenays. It's therapeutic to head out into the woods of our acreage and find fallen trees with character. Then, they're cut into rounds and I bring them back to life with vibrant watercolours. Every detail is handcrafted specifically for an audience who resonates with irregular contours and the intermingling of unusual colour harmonies.
For some time I’ve felt ready in the most unready sort of way to share my vision with those who cross paths with me here. (I’ve always been sort of shy anyway.)
Welcome to a place I call home where I transcend fallen wilderness into somethingness.

Wall hanging rounds
Wall hanging rounds vary between two sizes: small and large. Small rounds are typically four to five inches in diameter while large rounds run six to eight inches in diameter.
There is no such thing as a perfect round. Each piece has its own character. If imperfectionism suits you, I suggest you shop my wall hanging rounds while they're available.
No round will ever be the same.

Magnets
Magnets come in one size, between two to three inches in diameter depending on variety of wood sources.
Each magnet round is created with thought of the environment I imagine my audience to surround themselves with. My one-of-a-kind magnets are perfect for brightening up your camper or office space.
